International expansion in the era of the pandemic

Polish companies looking for new directions of development are eagerly trying to enter new, foreign markets. The expansion concerns both large companies with state-owned capital and small private start-ups. Has the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic affected their operations, and if so, how did it change their plans? What are the future prospects for internationalization?

The participants of the conference organized by ICAN Institute, which is the inauguration of the Think Tank - Be Polish Be Global, had an opportunity to learn:

  • How did Covid-19 affect the situation of Polish companies operating on foreign markets?
  • What challenges have arisen because of the crisis?
  • Have the companies changed their expansion plans?
  • How do entrepreneurs perceive the prospects for operating abroad today?
  • The current crisis: an opportunity or a threat?
