2nd Export Forum in Kraków

On behalf of the British Polish Chamber of Commerce we would like to invite you to the 2nd edition of Export Forum, which will take place on 19 May 2016, in Novotel Krakow Centrum hotel in Cracow and to the seminar "Grow your business and export to Great Britain", which will be held on 3 June 2016 at the headquarters of the Pomerania Development Agency in Gdansk.

2nd Export Forum

Poland’s exporters had a record year in terms of sales to the UK; the value of Polish goods exported  in 2015 to Britain – Poland’s second-largest market – was over £8.3 billion.

This event continues the work begun last year, when BPCC members explained to Polish exporters in very specific seminar sessions how to go about selling to the UK in practical terms. With presentations about logistics, translation, trade finance, certification and contractual issues, Polish exporters could learn directly from experienced practitioners all they need to know to successfully enter the UK market.

There is plentiful upside as the combination of a favourable exchange rate, ever-improving product quality and innovativeness, and the natural-born dynamism of Polish exporters all help to boost sales. Yet the differences in business culture and legal environment mean that Polish business is often failing to maximise its potential.

For BPCC members, this event offers access to new business in the form of Polish exporters keen to learn more about selling to Britain. If your company provides advice or services that could be of use to Polish exporters, and you wish to take an active, high-profile, part in this event, there is still the possibility of being one of the partners. The target group is medium- and larger-sized Polish businesses that are already doing export business but wish to expand their international operations to the UK.
