14th Annual Accounting Conference
Joanna Sokołowska, Manager in the Audit Department, was a speaker at the 14th Annual Accounting Conference, which was held on November 19-21, 2018 in Jachranka.
The conference program included the following issues:
- Electronisation of financial statements - amendments to the Accounting Act effective from 1 October 2018;
- Tax and balance-sheet aspects related to the closure of accounting books and the preparation of unit financial statements for 2018, taking into account current legal regulations, recent case-law and interpretations;
- Changes in International Financial Reporting Standards - selected issues;
- Value added tax in 2018 and changes to 2019.
Joanna Sokołowska conducted a lecture on changes in International Financial Reporting Standards:
- IFRS 9 - Financial instruments - the right of early repayment with negative remuneration.
- IFRS 15 - Revenue from contracts with customers.
- IFRS 16 - Leasing.
