The leader of this year’s Hospital Ranking is The Franciszek Lukaszczyk Oncology Centre in Bydgoszcz which scored 918 out of 1000 points. The Independent Public Heath Care Facility in Świdnica (895 points) was ranked second and Pleszew Medical Centre in Pleszew (894 points) was the third one on the podium.
Among the best monospecialist hospitals, excluding oncological ones, the Hematology and Transfusiology Institute in Warsaw was at the top of the ranking with Burn Treatment Centre in Siemianowice Śląskie just behind.
The Dr. S. Jasinski Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Zakopane was ranked first in the category of the best non-surgical treatment facilities, whereas the Saint Hedwig Regional Specialist Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Opole took the second place.
“Health care quality” prize was awarded to the ranking leader - The Franciszek Lukaszczyk Oncology Centre in Bydgoszcz.
The Minister of Health Konstanty Radziwiłł took honorary patronage over the Hospital Ranking.
The ranking was prepared for the 13th time by the Centre for Monitoring Quality in Health Care (CMJ) and the advisory firm IDEA Trade.
