The Best Annual Report 2020
Mazars has once again became a partner of The Best Annual Report contest, which aims to promote annual reports from the point of view of their usefulness for shareholders and investors.
The contest was addressed to all companies that prepared consolidated annual reports with IFRS/IAS standards. Those were mainly listed companies (Polish and foreign) and other companies that are obliged to prepare consolidated annual reports with IFRS/IAS standards since 1st January 2005, or that prepared such reports on a voluntary basis, and that aspired to prepare a truly reliable annual report for shareholders and investors.
2020 edition: what is new?
The competition was organized by the Institute of Accountancy and Taxes, and in its sixteenth edition there were several significant changes – a new category for the best annual report according to ESEF was added, the jury took a closer look at issuers who published integrated reports and their remuneration reports.
Jarosław Bochenek, Partner responsible for audit services, Board Member of Mazars Audyt sp. z o.o. joined the competition jury. The final gala took place on 14 October 2021 in the Quotation Room of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Our Partner was there to award the prize for the 3rd place in the Enterprises category for Grupa Lotos S.A. for the best annual report.

The Best Annual Report 2019 – winners announced!
For the 15th time in a row, The Institute of Accounting and Taxes has announced the winners of „The Best Annual Report” contest. The aim of the contest is to promote those annual reports which are the most useful for shareholders and investors. Mazars was a partner of this event.
