The aim of this competition is to promote annual reports with best usability for shareholders and investors, namely reports that allow to make investment decisions involving minimal risk. This increases the security of the capital market in Poland. Each company participating in the competition receives a detailed score sheet with the comments of members of the chapter which help enhance their annual reports every year.
The competition is open both to companies which prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS/IAS (rules and regulations for the regulated market) and to companies traded on the alternative market (NewConnect).
The competition’s chapter assesses annual reports filed with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority - KNF (regulated market) or with Warsaw Stock Exchange (alternative market), marketing reports and online annual reports.
Monika Kaczorek, Partner and Vice-President of the Management Board of Mazars Audyt Sp. z o.o. sits on the Competition jury.
The winners will be announced at the gala evening on 19 October 2017 in the Trading Floor (Sala Notowań) at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
