Mazars was partnering CEE private equity & venture capital conference

For another year in a row, Mazars, as a leading advisor in private equity and venture capital in CEE, become one of the sponsors of the 2nd edition of leading CEE PE & VC virtual conference which took place from 16th to 18th March. Our experts presented the key findings and insights focused on PE and VC regional market.

Investor market is generally considered being optimistic, focused on new opportunities and comfortable completing deals from home. Respondents predict revenues to fall less severely over the next 12 months than previously expected, a U-shaped recovery and shorter delays to their exit strategies than earlier predicted. In an uncertain environment, investors have proven resilient and are seeking new opportunities in the immediate term. If the political environment remains more settled and capital continues to be made available, then we can expect private equity to actively remain on the lookout for investment opportunities.

The aim of the PE & VC Virtual Conference was to navigate funds, investors and business through the COVID-19 situation and help them to get prepared for the post-crisis PE market. The event gathered 500+ PE&VC professionals and 300+ investors. During three days more than 30 speakers presented their insights benefiting from 72+ hours of networking.

On Wednesday 17th March from 12:30 to 12:50 (CET) financial advisory partners Andrija Garofulić and Răzvan Butucaru presented insights from two PE-related flagship studies Covid-19 and the world of private equity & Investing in the CEE: Inbound M&A report 2020/2021.
